AVOID.
SALON LEFT ME WITH CHEMICAL BURNS.
I visited for a t-section highlights, treatment and blow-dry.
My hair is naturally brown with blonde highlights and blonde extensions.
The stylist said she was applying 'toner' to my head but instead applied some kind of bleach or highlight tint as the product was burning my hair.
When I told the assistant I was in pain he giggled, said 'OK' and walked off.
When he washed it out of my hair he said "wow your head it hot" and I said "well yeah I did mention it was burning"
and then when they took me to the mirror my hair was bright ginger.
The stylist then claimed my natural hair was red and thats why it went ginger, which isn't true and I told them I can show them photos of my natural hair which is brown, from the day before on my phone.
Then they claimed I was LYING about the product burning my head because they kept saying 'its a toner and toner doesn't burn'.
They put more of the fake toner on to try and 'fix' the ginger, but it just kept burning and burning. I was in so much pain I couldn't stop crying.
Eventually a different stylist took over, she was nice and understood a mistake had been made, she said she will do lowlights through my hair to take out the ginger. The colour she used also started burning my head so I told them to immediately wash it off.
They claimed my scalp was fine but when I got to the mirror I could see burns on my scalp.
Even though I'd booked in for a blow dry they left me with wet hair, only dried the top to show the colour, and by the time I got home and blow dried my hair, the hair they'd dyed was brown, with blobs and patches of brown, no where near the colour of my extensions.
She CUT my hair extensions to get knots out that had been created by neglecting the extensions - they'd been using the wrong combs, wrong products which a hair stylist should know about.
When I got home my head was throbbing, and I looked in the mirror to see loads more burns then the one I'd noticed in the salon.
I cancelled all my plans for the weekend.
I had to go to see a doctor to seek medical advice about the burns who confirmed they were bad chemical burns.
Went for a consultation at a different salon who also confirmed I had chemical burns on my head from Cutting Crew using the WRONG products, they gasped when I told them they applied the bleach to my scalp twice and left it on for 20 minutes saying that no wonder I've been left injured.
I've been quoted £120 to fix the colour, double the price of what I was expecting to pay.
Cutting crew did tell me they'd try and fix it again on saturday, but I didn't go back because of the fact the burns got worse and the fact they were using the wrong correction colour anyway.
Absolutely AWFUL experience.
Rosemary was fabulous, providing not only a beautiful result, but also charming conversion and a great service overall. She made me very happy, and I will definitely visit again!
