Maybe the positive reviews for the Brazilian blow dry were for an earlier booking with someone else.
There seemed to be only one person there that had experience and really knew what they were doing. I got forgotten about a bit, and with too much product around my edges ended up with some nasty burns that are still flaking. The man who blow dried my hair (I had been passed on to him as the experienced lady who started my hair had by this point decided to take on his client for a much more interesting restyle) was very slow. When the salon was closing and I was still there, just before leaving the lady told the man doing my hair to go over my hair with straighteners 5 or so times in small sections. This didn't happen (and at one point I even said 'you haven't gone over that enough times'). He handed me over to the other man there to finish it off, and this man zipped through it without any care for how many times he went over it. Then both left me alone when they thought I was done (neither actually said anything, just put down the straighteners and walked away), and I even tried to use his little straighter myself a few times on some sections. I went home and had to use my own straighteners on my hair, which is the only reason it's half decent.
I've had good treatments and good experiences in other salons and this was neither.

everything was great, Christina was a bit late, but roped in a colleague to speed up the process so it was finished on time - and I love the results!
