I am sad to write this review because the women were v pleasant and chirpy at the venue however i was misleaded. I booked in an appointment via treatwell at cut and crafts green lanes for a cut and blow dry before a wedding . I was told via treatwell it would cost £35. When I arrived I informed the hairdresser that I would like a curly blow dry dot a straight one and she said that’s a Hollywood style type blow dry and I said I suppose yes. At that moment she’s failed to inform me that this would cost more than the £35 I was quoted . At the end I was not that satisfied with the curls. I felt she rushed with the curling tongs as she had another blue tooth yet was trying to fit me in. The style did not look like a Hollywood style she had mentioned but soem curls after a straight blow dry but encause they were nhce I didn’t want to upset them and went along with what I got because it was relatively nice all the same. I was charged £56 for this and I didn’t hear the price as I was too busy sifting for coins to give them as a tip. It was only after I paid with my card and left the salon that I realised I actually paid £56 and not £35. I called my hairdresser friend and she said they basically overcharged and ripped me off by an extra £21 on top of the £35 I was quoted. As I was not sure I called the hairdresser immediately only 15 mins after leaving and explained that I was quoted one price but chargers another. The receptionist said she didn’t know and to call back in 2 hour’s and speak to the hairdresser who cut my hair. 2 hour’s later I called again and the hairdresser was out. I felt they kept putting off talking and explaining to me why they had Charged me that amount. I left my number and requested the hairdresser call me when she got back . The call never happened so j rang again the next day. This time I spoke to another receptionist and explained teb situation she’s told me the hairdresser was not there. After I explained to her that their price list says it’s £35 for a cut and blow dry a restyle £46 and hair up £56 . I said I didn’t get a restyle or hair up so should have been chardged £35 as quoted . The receptionist seemed to agree then proceeded to hold me online whilst she went and spoke to the hairdresser who refused to talk to me and relayed to the receptionist that she charged me the correct price as she’s considered curls a restyle. I asked for a refund for at least some of the amount and said if it’s a restyle I should actually be charged £46 in that case and not £56 and that they should have informed me of the price change before cutting me hair which they also failed to do. They didn’t want to understand or refund and so I am writing this review because I feel mislead and duped. A negative overall experience .

Really wonderful experience. Perfect wax, not a single stray hair in sight. Staff so friendly. It well definitely be a place I visit regularly.

Very swiftly seen to when I first arrived, listened to by my stylist and had the best blow dry I have ever had! I used to be terrified of hairdressers but I will definitely be coming back. Bilge was great and gave me lots of good advice about caring for my hair!!
