Hurted my arm one day before so decided to book a blow dry in any salon close to mine. Didn't do proper research. WORST MISTAKE! 😖
To be honest the ladies were nice, offered me something to drink but when the lady that was doing my blow dry finished I was in shock 😳.
Is it finished? I enquired which she promptly said yes. So I said I am
sorry but I asked straight blow dry and I could see all the frizz because she just didn't dry properly using the blow
dryer in almost cold temperature and she doesn't know how to blow dry. She didn't had the grip required to straight the hair. ( my hair is not course nor difficult to blow dry) that's why my hair was looking like a birds nest. She even wanted to fix her bad job with a straight iron!!! Which I never use in my hair!! Very disappointed!
I asked her if she could please fix it only with hair dryer which she did but as she didn't do a proper drying job straightening before in my full head the next day my hair was all wavy again.
Usually a good blow dry (which I get for the same price on my 2 inches below shoulder hair) in an A+ salon lasts for 3 days intact!
Also in the end they wanted to charge me 5 pounds extra saying my hair was longer which I promptly show the prices in the treatwell app. I said I would gladly pay 50p more as the site states hair below the shoulder was 25.50 but not 5 pounds as the price of £30 was for waist length hair.
I couldn't believe what I was experiencing. Completely Empty and very basic salon and still they tried to rip me off saying that the app did something wrong, that Friday's there's no discount ( Even me showing my receipt with the right booking day and time)
NEVER AGAIN!!!! Even I can do a blow dry 10x better. Sorry but £25 for a hair a tad below the shoulder is not cheap at all.
