Just left from my second visit and I couldn't be happier with my hair! On my first visit Craig managed to save my hair from a huge amount of colour buildup turning it from black to the most natural, light and healthy it's ever been! My second visit, I went with suggestions but Craig knew it wouldn't suit me and gave me other options which would work much better on me and I wouldn't even have thought of. It's turned out even better than I could have imagined! He really knows what will work for you and does an amazing job every time. Plus if Jackson's there it's a few hours of puppy therapy which is always a bonus!
I visited the Craig Andrew Salon for the first time for my appointment with Craig on Weds 28th Aug. I had dyed my hair black for a number of years and wanted some advice on how to lighten my hair somewhat and also wanted a change in style. I was apprehensive about the visit and wasn't convinced that my colour would lift after speaking with other salons and had prepared myself to leave with a semi-disaster :) Craig spent a great deal of time talking me through the process and risks of colour correction and my thoughts on what I thought I wanted before starting the process. He then spent significant time and care at every step which included the lifting of my colour, then the careful application of colour and foil highlights before finally cutting my new style. The outcome has beyond exceeded my expectations, the colour has come through extremely well and I genuinely believe this is a result of the time, thought and care given and the cut again just worked for me. In addition to Craig being exceptionally good, my observation was that all other staff working there were also clearly very skilled and as a result I would highly recommend this salon to anyone and my piece of advice would be to listen to the advice you are given, this place knows what they are talking about and I doubt you would be dissapointed. I also felt this was great value for the amount of work done and the time involved. I also bought products to help my hair recovery on the advice of Craig and for once I didnt regret this, the texture of my hair has recovered in a week despite the colour removal process thanks to specialist shampoo and conditioner I purchased. A great environment with highly skilled work force, you won't regret going !!
I read all the reviews before I made the appointment with Craig and consequently went with an open mind today to get my frizzy wavy dry hair cut. I have been to most hair salons in Glasgow, you know the ones that charge a fortune, make a mess of your hair and give you attitude to boot and you wonder how and why they are still n business I have also had my hair done at Charlie Miller's in Edinburgh and Richard Ward (made famous by Kate Middleton's patronage) in Chelsea. I have now found in Andrew the artist my hair needs! He knew exactly what I wanted but then made it better. I have already booked my return visit. Reviewed by Lynn not Charles!!!
I've been to many hairdressers in my time in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Paris. Craig Andrew gave my by far my favourite haircut. My hair is really curly and difficult to manage but Craig knew exactly how to deal with it and find me a style that really suits me!
Cannot thank him enough and will definitely be back!
I have been going to Craig Andrew for 9 years since I first discovered him at Cappelinis in my Uni Snapfax days. I have followed him and have been a regular client of the salon since it opened.
I cannot recommend Craig highly enough - he even travelled down on my wedding day to Ayr with his team to do my hair and the bridal partys' hair. He did an amazing job and made sure my hair was perfect on my big day!
Whenevr I come in with a new idea for my hair he gives me his honest opinion and tells me whether he genuinly thinks it will suit me - no doubt saving me from a few hair disasters!
I trust him implicitly, I know he will always do a great job - I am always thrilled with my hair and Craig always advises me in a professional way. I have had several "hair-ups" done by Craig over the years and every time I go to a wedding or event everyone compliments my hair.
I can walk in to the salon and can let Craig do my hair without worrying that I won't like it - Craig always does as exceptional job.
I would never go anywhere else and I recommend him to everyone! Thanks Craig!
