The massage itself was nice, not amazing and not bad... If anything it was very repetitive - and for half an hour massage that's quite unusual. I'm used to an hour long massages but this place was so expensive an hour massage was out of the question. And good job I didn't pay it! Staff at the reception just sent me downstairs where a therapist was very surprised at my arrival. She prepared the room after inviting me in it which is unusual - I'd rather wait outside and be called in, also she didn't leave when I was getting undressed. Massage went ok but it was impossible to relax with the music in the room set to a skipping CD of flute classics while the radio outside was blasting to full conflicting with the said skipping CD. Ambience - sorry, not. Therapist was nice though but the only reason I went there is because my regular place were fully booked and I needed a relaxing massage at that moment. Massage I got, relaxing - not at all.
Friendly staff. I had a file & polish and it looked really good when I left. But it started to peel of the same night which was very disappointing. And I've had a lot off manicures before and it never come off this quickly before. Old nail polish?
This salon lost power in the Holburn fire but didn't let it deter them--they were giving treatments by daylight upstairs and kept to time too. I was really impressed and grateful that my trip wasn't for nothing.
Neat and very clean place. Therapist was spot on and didn not miss a spot. Very happy and will come again.
They welcomed me earlier than expected and let me began my treatment immediately without hesitation. The treatment room is tiny, but has the right ambience. It smells nice, soft lights and the bed is quite comfortable. It is unfortunately not sound-proof, so although there was relaxing music on we could still hear the music from the salon - not bad music, just not something to relax to! The therapist explained to me in great detail what we were going to do and the treatment was great. She has a very gentle but firm touch and everything was really perfect.
