This was the first time I had tried out gel nails. I loved how my nails looked after the treatment, but was surprised they didn't last as long as I had expected. After following tips from friends that had previously had gel nails it was a shame mine lasted just over a week. However I'd definitely like to try having gel nail treatment again as I love the way they looked.

There is nothing particularly wrong with the venue or the cleanliness of the treatment room, The reason I am compelled to write this review is because this was by far most the painful wax I have ever experienced. I have been having the same treatment (hollywood) approximately once a month for the past four or so years and I would consider my pain threshold to be quite high (normally rate waxing at around 4/10). However on this occasion I would say this was a strong 9.2 out of 10 to the point I actually used expletives numerous times. I'm not sure if this is something to do with how new this Beautician was but her technique needs to improve if this salon wants return customers.

Wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Small table set up in basement room. Limited colours to choose from. Gel nails are already looking worn 5 days after - normally look good still after 2 weeks.
