This was my first time going to Chic Beauty and while the gel manicure itself was good, unfortunately the overall experience wasn't 100% great. I had booked and paid in advance for a 1.30 appointment as I work near by and popped over on my lunch break. I arrived at 1.25 but my manicure didn't begin until 1.50, with another customer (who had a 1.35 appt) being seen before me. The delay was caused by an earlier appointment running over but I was told it would be a 10 min delay - which turned out to be 20 mins - and then my manicure felt quite rushed to help the salon get back on track for the next appointment. Also as they had another customer in for a manicure at the same time I had to sit sideways over by the hairdresser mirrors rather than at the manicure table. A good manicure but not ideal if, like me, you're tight on time!
