I booked in to have a gel manicure and was running 5 minutes late because I got the salons mixed up. So I rang and was told it was fine but when I got there the nail technician was already doing someone else’s nails and told me I’d have to wait 10-20 minutes, and despite obviously being a bit annoyed that they said being a bit late was fine I waited anyway. 30 minutes passed when they were done and then I asked to have a few different colours on my manicure and I was told we have to be quick with my treatment as she has someone coming in a few minutes. I’m confused why no one on the phone told me that basically being 5 minutes late would mean I’d have to have a rushed treatment for the same price. This was also not communicated to me before I sat waiting for thirty minutes.
Anyway in the end I didn’t end up having the treatment because the service wasn’t good and I didn’t want to pay for a rushed job. Wouldn’t go there again simply because the communication between the person on the phone was poor, and a waste of time.
