I went in for a manicure before my wedding. I specifically asked for no gels, no buffering with the machine, and definitely no cuticle cutting. The therapist was surly insisting they only do gels. I pointed out that this is not what I wanted. Her attitude was unfriendly to say the least. An overall bad experience culminated in her cutting my cuticle on my ring finger despite me telling her not to, causing it to bleed. What should have been a relaxing experience instead reduced me to tears.
