Tired of the constant and paiInful waxing I researched lazer hair removal. SOOO expensive, but I stumbled upon Cobella in High Street Kensington. Fantastic staff, and the therapists were professional and considerate, they explained everyting well and I felt totally confident having the treatment done. Also it was very successful! As I had had my hair cut short last year and was getting impatient waiting for it to grow, I asked if I could speak to one of the styist about having hair extensions. Adam luckily had time to talk to me and I booked in the next day for my new hair! It is sooooooo good and I love swishing it! Thanks to everyone at Cobella. Great staff and a super professional salon.

Again, I'm rating a place I go to all the time but this time it's different: I went away because I couldn't afford going there anymore but I couldn't find a place that did as good a job. I see Adam who works here. I save up and go and the last time the colour was so wonderful that I had to call him and say thank you. It's a working salon, sometimes you have to sit and wait and it can be hard to get them to pick up the phone, but I love it. My hair doesn't look good when I go elsewhere - and I've tried at least 3 (Macs, Cuts and a place when I was in America) other places to have my hair done before I went back this year.

I had the Brazillian Blow Dry at Cobella Kensington. From the moment I got there I was really relaxed. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The stages of the treatment were fully explained to me and I was extremely pleased with the results. There is no hard sell to but certain products but my therapist advised that the shampoo and conditioner were a good way of prolonging the treatment and making sure that you got the best results. The only downside of this treatment is that you can't wash your hair for 3/4 days after but saying that my hair still looked lovely after then and not at all greasy. My hair is much more manageable and softer and I hardly have to use my straighteners. I would certainly have this treatment again but only if there is another voucher!

I got a mob deal on Wahanda for the Brazilian Blow Dry which was a very good deal off their normal price. The discount was almost 70% off. The receptionist was not very welcoming as she left me on my own for a good 10 mins before she inquired why I was there. She was busy chatting with her colleagues even though I was patiently watiting in front of the reception counter waiting to be served. The stylist was quite harassed as it was quite busy when I arrived. However she was very polite and offered me a drink and seated me comfortably and discussed what the BBD would entail as it was my first time. The BBD was ok only as it seemed she was a junior stylist and she didn't feel as experienced for such a specialized treatment. I think I wouldn't have appreciated it as much if I had paid the full £250 and got this level of service. However as it was so cheap, I didn't comment on it too much. The place is obviously a hair salon more than a spa. I dont think I would be tempted to do a treatment here. Not unless it was a very good deal or promotion on.

I didn't know what to expect, but after a long day at work it was enjoyable. So far I am very happy with the brazilian blow dry and if it continues as it is now then I would have this treatment done again
