I went for a mani and pedi yesterday at Classy Nails in Manchester. I was trying not to write with feedback but I’m just too frustrated and disappointed. I paid £43 and it was just said a bad job. The manicure was so hurried, it took about 15 minutes and it’s already chipped the next day. I had to ask to have my cuticles done which she then did after the painting and then smudged one nail (she redid it very badly). I then waited 30 minutes with my feet in the water while they finished someone else. The pedicure was ok but that was mostly because I didn’t get them painted. It was a terrible experience.
Went in for a simple “cut and file” manicure. The nail technician couldn’t even file them down to a round shape. She couldn’t even get them all the same length! It’s almost criminal to charge someone for this kind of shoddy, unprofessional work. Not even worth the one star. Would not recommend and will never return.
This is my second time at the salon. After years of trying to find a salon that is consistent in doing great nails (acrylics), I believe I have found the one!! The salon is clean, very attractive in decor and the service is great. Nadia is a friendly, attentive and experienced manager and she clearly takes alot of pride in ensuring clients are happy. Her staff are lovely too and I liked that I was offered a drink as soon as I walked in. I loved my nails after both visits...so happy! As anyone with acrylics will know, it's when they grow out, that's when application errors can emerge. I have had none of that, which is evidence if excellent work completed by experienced nail technicians. I recommended the salon to a work colleague and she went and loved her nails too. A great gem of a salon in NQ. After years of searching, I hope to make this my go to salon for manicures and pedicures :)
