Perhaps it's because it was so busy, but I didn't get all the glamorous extras I usually get at a hairdressers like teas and coffees, and I was rushed and moved around a lot. However, I chose this place because it was cheap, and what I got was very good value. If you're not after all the fancy stuff, this place is great! I went for highlights, and she knew exactly what I needed and what would look good, and I was more than pleased with the outcome. Considering some places charge over £100 for this treatment and through treatwell I got this for just £50 I was extremely impressed, would definitely go back again! When my original hairdresser could not make the time I had booked, anotjwrnoffered to do it instead, and I even got a free treatment to apologise which I really did appreciate, it was nice to know that they appreciated my custom.
Hair Colouring
It was a pleasure to have my legs waxed at Civette the staff/owner was friendly and couldn't be more hospitable if they tried! I also had my 4 year old daughter with me (unplanned!) as she was poorly and due for a doctors visit and the owner gave her a free nail varnish which my daughter was overjoyed with!

After explaining why I wasn't totally happy with the previous colouring, it was done differently this time and I really like it - much finer colouring so the thick streaks have gone. Definitely going back!

It was my second time at Civette Hair & Beauty and last time I give them 5 stars; unfortunately, this time I am highly disappointed with their service. First, the colour they used is too dark, so now my hair is darker than my eyebrows. If that was not enough, when I arrived home and I checked my face and my hair I realised that I still had stains from the colour over my ears (and I have short hair!) and under my right eyebrow. Also, while trying to clean the colour from my forehead they badly scratched my skin. I am really sorry to write this review because I saw how Cinzia, the owner, works with her customers and I was really impressed by her service; however, this time she was on holiday and her staff were clearly not able to handle the shop.
