When I arrived at Cleo Clinic Wimbledon, they advised they did not have my appointment or any confirmation of my booking. I showed them the confirmation on email from Wahanda, and they were hesitant to accommodate. I was shown into a room where a staff member said she would give the wax. The room was clean, however had no pillow and was not very relaxing. The staff member seemed quite irritated that she had to accommodate me. My skin was not prepped for the wax - was not asked if the wax was too hot...she just went ahead with the wax, which was finished in less than 10 minutes - I am not kidding! I was asked if I wanted cream for the area - this is usually standard, so why was I asked? Two days later, I was using a tweezers to remove hairs which were not removed ....this is the worst wax I have ever had.
I arrived at the salon only to find they had no clue of my appointment! I sat there whilst that hurried around to find a therapist! The treatment its self was extremely rushed, didn't even bother to ask how the temperature of the wax was! A lot of hairs left, I know that price is extremely reasonable but that is absolutely no reason to skimp on the quality or service!
I've been a couple of times to this spa now and always try to give them the benefit of the doubt but I've come to realise this is not a good place to get a wax! I paid for a strip wax, of which I'd had many but the last one I had at Cleo Clinic was probably the most painful one of my life. The lady didn't do a very good job of removing all the hair either and when I asked if she was going to do 'behind' she exclaimed that that wasn't part of a Brazilian wax! I won't be going back despite the low cost.
