The staff were really friendly and fitted me in despite a problem with the booking. The treatment was good value and relatively pain free! I would definitely recommend to a friend.
This afternoon I booked a two a clock appointment at the cleo clinic in wimbledon for a Brazilian wax. I was served by a lady named Rupal. As this was a Brazilian wax I was quite wary of the pain and sensitivity.
When she placed the wax on me, I made her aware that the wax was quite hot and it was burning me, but she kept saying "no its not" and carried on. I was in pain and to make things worse when she pulled off the wax she by no way tugged my skin or even put any pressure on the area to reduce the pain. Despite my repeatedly telling her she shrugged off my comments and started arguing with me to tell me that the wax is not hot and I'm causing my own pain by not staying still!!! I was in pain and in no way was I able to stay still and more over I had to pull my own skin to try to reduce the pain to which she shouted at me a saying I'm not allowing her to do her job!!! This experience left me excruciating pain. I couldn't even check afterwards if all the hair was off because I was burning in pain and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as I can. I've never had this experience ever before and I feel absolutely sick. I called Wahanda just as I left the Salon and I was shaking and felt sick! Now that I've had a few hours to rest, I've checked and my skin has been damaged and im left bruised and in pain!
There is nothing that can be done to reverse this experience and from now on, NO women should go through what I did!!
Great value service from this salon. Although the actual waxing was fairly brutal and left me bruised for a few days. I was the 1st appointment of the day, but had to wait a while. Luckily the therapist was very fast so the pain was for a short period and I was out in 20 minutes.
The first time I went here I was really impressed with the waxing treatment - whilst I was there a member of staff told me if you go somewhere with a voucher the staff tend to do a quick job because they know you won't come back, when I came back to this salon it seemed clear that they were only doing a 'half job' in comparison to the first time, even though I paid an extra £5 on top of my voucher to go from a Brazilian to a Hollywood. I guess this is the downfall to getting vouchers because I really loved it the first time!
