Unfortunately, I booked online, and it turned out that the clinic's booking system did not exactly match the clinic's, so when I turned up I learnt that there was no available treatment room. I cannot fault Cleo's, as the receptionist tried to contact me and I failed to pick up the message. I have also only been refunded for one treatment so far, but I am hoping that is due to amid-up. So disappointing that the online booking system accepted a booking when it shouldn't have.
I paid for a 60 minute massage which actually was only 40 minutes long. I was shown to a room and asked to undress. The bed was prepared but there was no towel to lie under so I had to request on. The bed was also set up incorrectly so I couldn't lie down on my stomach so had to wait while she removed all of the pillows. The lady giving the massage then started the massage and chatting to me constantly with a very bizarre set of questions... Am I married, oh... You're not, ok but you've got a boyfriend? Oh, you don't but you've had boyfriends before? It was definitely very awkward conversation. The massage itself was probably one of the worst I've had. Im pretty sure my 5yr old niece would have done a better job! I absolutely would not recommend this venue!
my first visit to cleo clinic. Felt rushed. I had a facial - I was ushered into a room - told to lie on a bed which was almost too high to get up on. The lady doing my facial didn't once tell me what she was actually doing, eventually left me there for what I guess was about 20/15 mins - I decided it was some kind of mask. Long and short of it was - I was sitting in my car ready to go, at the same time my appoint should have finished. Says it all really!!
I had a full body Swedish massage. It was fine. I was a little disappointed that even after I pointed out an area that was giving me particular issue, no special attention was paid to it. It was a standard rub em up, get em out. Which is fine for the price. Nothing special.
aroma therapy massage - initially had no aromatherapy oils, finally found 1 after a fairly long conversation; massage was so-so and felt aggressive on some areas, more like a gentle rub on others facial - not a relaxing experience, felt like my mum was washing my face with a facecloth; there was no enquiry into type of skin/any issues etc but a nice non-irritating moisturiser was used in the end staff - didn't have enough English to be able to deal with queries, but did manage to ask for a tip definitely disappointing
