Wasn't given much choice/consultation in terms of colour and my stylist didn't say anything before leaving me with dye on my eyelashes for 15 minutes unsure of when she was coming back. The only 'choice' I had was saying 'not too dark' just before she applied the brown dye to my eyebrows when I'm blonde and fair skinned! The final outcome was a bit dark but pretty well done.
