This is not to do with the technician. The salon looks shabby and run down. No chocolates in sight. It was cold. The whole place needs a makeover!
The technician was very nice, but her English was limited. I asked for "squoval " nails and explained I meant, between square and oval and she did them square. By the time she asked if it was OK, my nail was square and couldn't be changed..
Sorry Chocolate and Nails, but for Easter Sunday and no chocolate it’s a fail… Maybe just my nails but the polish is uneven and jagged. I feel a waste of money and time sadly… I’ll not be returning…. I’ve saved for this treat and was sadly disappointed…
Have been to Chocolate and Nails many times and always had a great experience and gel manicure. However, this time not so much. While Nika was lovely and very efficient, the cuticle trip left me with multiple hangnails and looked ragged. Then the gel chipped after 6 days. Unfortunately the manicure was for a holiday so I’m not able to go back and get it fixed or removed until after my trip. Probably won’t be coming back to C&N which is a shame.
The atmosphere when you walk in is cold and unfriendly. No one welcomes you with a kind smile or a friendly conversation. Then when I got a pedicure they cut my skin so much that it was bleeding. The beautician quickly got some alcohol to stop it but my feet were sore for days after I left.
