I recently visited Chingford Smile Club for a hygienist appointment, and what should have been a straightforward visit has turned into an incredibly distressing experience. During the appointment, I felt some discomfort but assumed it was part of the process. Shortly afterwards, I realised one of my teeth looked chipped. I confronted the team immediately, as I knew for certain my tooth had not been chipped beforehand. Rather than showing concern or compassion, they flatly denied that anything had happened. They also went as far as to leave the room and retrieve another dentist who had clearly been coached on what to say. Once she looked at my tooth and aggressively scraped at it with an instrument without my consent she confirmed that ‘nothing had happened’ and that everything was ‘fine’. I was so shocked and upset that I broke down crying there and then — I felt completely dismissed and gaslit by people I had trusted with my care. Out of worry, I went to another dentist at my own expense, where I was told the tooth had a small fracture. This confirmed exactly what I feared. What has made this worse is the way I’ve been treated since. The practice manager personally told me to stay in touch after my dental appointment and said they would see “what they could do for me.” This experience has left me heartbroken and deeply disappointed. I feel forgotten about, unsupported, and out of pocket for damage that occurred under their care. I had chosen Chingford Smile Club believing it was a professional and trustworthy practice, but sadly, I have been left feeling the complete opposite. When the practice manager did eventually get back to me I was told this matter would be ‘investigated’ the ‘investigation’ that commenced was nothing other than written confirmation basically pedalling the same lie that ‘nothing’ had happened. I also find it incredibly CONVENIENT that any negative reviews left for this practice have responses attached urging people to delete their reviews and say that ‘it wasn’t us’ or ‘you’ve got the wrong dental practice’ so I would strongly advise you to think before you go and book an appointment there I would rate them as a 0 if given the option.

I had a good overall experience you know first time going to the dentist as a 26 years old man...😅 Very expensive though, I paid £500 for 2x small fillings, cleaning and consultation inc. Xrays...

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this dental practice. The reception staff were extremely helpful and polite from the moment I arrived, which immediately put me at ease. The dentist I saw was truly lovely — kind, gentle, and very informative. She explained every procedure clearly as she went along, treated me with genuine kindness and respect, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Best of all, there was no pain at all. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this practice.

Everyone and everything at this surgery is Excellent,from the reception staff to the doctors are all very very professional and friendly and helpful I was treated by Dr Nuran and I was extremely impressed by her professionalism and kind and helpful attitude and attention to detail Special thanks to Joe (practice Manager)who went above and beyond to help me to find an appointment and resolve my issues. Highly recommend this surgery
