Sorry to report that the blade pedicure has become quite stingy with the blade. It used to be the best of covent garden, very thorough on dead skin, and now it's just another shop that fixes you up for a few days and then the hard skin comes back! May be a matter of the boys having moved on to doing hands only. Hopefully they'll rectify this!
I didnโt actually stay long enough to get my nails done here. When we walked in a girl quickly greeted me and my friend, told us to sit down and wait. No one made eye contact with us or gave any idea of exactly how long weโd be waiting (all three memebers of staff were very much mid-treatment with other clients). While we browsed the polishes (crusty, and separating) a lady having a pedicure was struggling to get the technician to understand that her leg was hurting and that she needed to move it. Instead of saying that he clearly didnโt understand, he just seemed to be ignoring her. The overall feeling was grim and impersonal.
