First impressions were that it is very cramped looking nothing like the photograph.A little disappointing that very little English could be spoken so it was a very silent manicure/pedicure. Three different people attended me and not one of them introduced themselves! The receptionist, possibly a team member, was slumped at the desk looking bored which again gives a poor impression. Not quite what I had hoped for as I had been looking forward to a luxury experience. It certainly was not this!
Chi’s is a basic establishment, it swells with embellishes walls and semi entertaining slogans but the service is mostly lax and uninterested but always polite and friendly. Never the less it is my go to nail salon as the finish is good.
This salon constantly over books customers! I booked an appointment for 12.30 as I was on a quick lunch break and needed to get back to the office for a certain time. I arrived on time and it was very busy. I didn’t get seen till 1pm. The staff start treatments, then stop midway and move on to someone else. They come back, continue for a bit and then move on again. It’s like they are trying to fit in as many customers as possible, to make as much money as possible, despite providing a terrible and unrelaxing service. They also move you from one spot to another to squeeze in more people. The whole process is money first, customer second, and it leaves you feeling stressed throughout the experience. I’ve never had a manicure and pedicure like it. It’s meant to be a treat that you’re paying quite a bit for, so it would be nice to leave feeling relaxed and pampered rather than more stressed and anxious!
