I bought a 1 hour theraphy which was a choice between acupuncture, or massage. The location of the "clinic" is far from being worth the full price, being located in a tiny, tacky bronzing shop. The acupuncture lasted only 20 minutes (I was expenting at least an integration of a 40 min massage to make up for the remaining time). The therapist did a consultation beforehand most of it was repetitive, unrelated to the shoulder problem the acupuncture was for, and therefore way too long. The therapist did not sound very competent in my view. And after all I just wanted to relax , instead I left feeling no different than when I entered. The therapy was not worth the money I paid with the discount, let alone the full price. Dissapointing.
The venue is a tiny room above a tanning shop. The therapist/owner is a one woman band, This type of set up is something I could live with if the treatment was good. I booked Sports massage, what I got was an hour of stroking even though I did ask the therapist to have a proper go at my muscles. This is my opinion but you only do a Wahanda promotion to demonstrate to prospective clients how good you are and entice them to come back. It felt like this therapist didn't care. I certainly got what I paid for and will never in million years pay the full price for this quality sports massage. I can get a much better deal at my local physio and they know what they are doing. I think this lady specialises in acupuncture so maybe that's what she's good at. Don't bother with massage though.
I have tried many different massages styles over the years and this masseuse is definately one of the best. I had a 30/30 minute sports massage/acupuncture treatment, Chi really understands pressure points as you would expect from an acupuncturist. Excellent, will definately be going to her again.
I really enjoyed the sports massage with Chi, it was a little painful at first (which is usually the case with a sports massage) but the relief during and after was worth it! The room is quite small, but sufficient for the massage. It was well worth it.
Great massage and value for money
