While I'm getting my shellac pedicure done, I'm already writing my review. It seems things have changed here at Cher Salon. As a returning customer I must say that I feel being ripped off - prices have hugely increased and the customer service is lacking big time. At the start of my shellac pedicure treatment I've immediately been told that shellac removal will be charged extra which came to a surprise to me as this hasn't been charged at my previous appointments and - in my opinion - should be really included in the price you pay for new shellac pedicure (around £35-£50) for a returning customer. I had booked the appointment with a particular beautician, but someone else has looked after me. The staff seemed to be rather busy talking with each other and planning the work schedule for their 3 branches and who's getting paid when. I think this isn't something a customer should hear or know about. 40 minutes in and I still haven't been offered a drink. And while I'm sitting in the pedicure chair with my feet under water, I've been asked what colour I'd like. It seemed like a real effort for the staff to get up to show me the colours as I couldn't walk over to them. Don't understand why they haven't got this colour wheel as I've seen it in many other places. 60 minutes in and the first layer of colour is applied. The beautician already hit my toes twice with the UV light thingy and has been trying to redo them. 75 minutes and we're on the 3rd layer. A few more customers have walked in and walked away again. 90 minutes in and finally I'm done. I go up to the till, where I should pay £8 (!) for the shellac removal. I question the amount by saying that I've not been charged this previously and the lady gives me a £3 reduction. So overall I paid £45 (minus a £5 Treatwell voucher).
Disappointed about the whole experience and honestly I don't see a point in returning when I'm also going to other saloons which are centrally located with much better customer service for a much better price. Sorry, but today you've not given me a reason to come back and with such a huge offering in London, I probably won't come back.
Sonya is really friendly and did a brilliant job with my shellac removal and re-polish. Lots of shellac colours to choose from - would recommend and will go back
Owner Cher was really friendly and welcoming. Lady who did my nails very thorough and took time even thought the salon was very busy. Will definitely return!
