Having read so many reviews about how warm and friendly the staff at this place are, I was really surprised and disappointed in the service I received. The staff must have said less than 10 words to me the entire time I was there, mostly in the form of commands - 'wash your hands', 'swap hands' etc - it definitely felt like they were trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible. My manicurist wasn't even paying attention to the timer on the light box to make sure that each hand was exposed to the UV for enough time - he just kept having me swap them randomly every few seconds.
There was no attempt to make me feel welcome or to enhance the overall experience. I wouldn't usually mind, as I am paying to have my nails done, not to make friends with the staff, but when paying this price I do expect some degree of warmth/welcome from the staff - I've paid far less at other places where I've been offered a drink and a much friendlier service.

Honestly the best salon I’ve been to in a long time, very clean, manicure was very quick and my gels lasted for 3 whole weeks without chipping at all!! The best.
