Lovely staff, had a great time.
This was an amazing massage and facial. My skin felt amazing afterwards. Massage was firm but relaxing and she checked that I was happy with pressure. I think I just found my new favourite spa. Will be going back
Great facial, lovely staff
Amazing facial! Overall great experience, staff were super friendly and helpful, very relaxed and skin feels amazing! Would highly recommend
I have visited Caudalie several times for massages and facials and have always enjoyed the experience. This visit I had a new therapist (Angeline I believe?) who recently joined the team and the experience was a little weird and I'm not sure I will return, unfortunately. First and foremost I should say the massage was excellent, likely the best I have received there, but the atmosphere and accompanying experience was not. The lights were turned up too high (previously they have always been very dim, with an LED candle flickering and the air permeated with Caudalie "devine" fragrance... non of those things happened this time!) during the massage and were turned up even more during the facial, which made it impossible to decompress. During the massage the therapist was whispering most of the time, which was uncomfortable... I couldn't make out what she was saying, but she was absolutely saying something. When I turned over during the massage, she pulled the sheet all the way down to my waist, leaving my chest exposed for a good 15-20 mins, which was very strange and uncomfortable, especially under blaring lights as someone is whispering under their breath! I have been getting massages for 20+ years and have never had anyone do this, really awkward and uncomfortable to say the least and no idea what woman would have been comfortable in my position. The transition to the facial was not seamless like it always has been in my previous experiences here. The lights were turned up even further, while the therapist asked several questions (previously, this had always been done before any treatments began, which allows you to just relax for the entirety of your session). I have always enjoyed learning about the products and purchasing them intermittently, but I was never pressured. That was not the case with this therapist, who was pushy, even after I indicated I was going to buy something. I sincerely hope Caudalie works through some serious training with this new therapist, as it's not the lovely experience I've come to expect with there services. I love this little spa and am gutted that it's no longer the guaranteed relaxation treat it used to be for me. :(
