Really lovely products. Such a shame they were short staffed. When I arrived the door was locked and there was a note saying the shop floor would be closed all day due to there not being enough staff. When the door was unlocked for me the therapist seemed very flustered. She struggled to find me on the system and she was clearly trying to rush the other client out. When the client finally emerged the therapist took her on a tour of the shop showing her all of the products that had been used trying to encourage her to buy. This took about 5/10 minutes and was eating into my massage time. I was then shown into the massage room, the procedure was explained to me and the therapist then disappeared. It took her quite some time to reappear and when she did I could clearly smell coffee and food on her. I understand she needed to eat but again this took 5/10 minutes and for the rest of the massage I could clearly smell what she had drank and eaten on her breath! The massage and facial were great, and my skin has benefited from it. However despite her being late to open the door, then her time with her previous client over running and her going for her lunch before treating me I still left earlier than the 50 minutes my treatment should have taken had it started on time. Sadly I don’t think I will be visiting again which is a shame as I have always enjoyed my experiences at caudalie up until today.
