Casa Spa part of Casa Spa   Last minute
This venue offers discounts on last minute bookings.

Established for over 11 years, Casa Spa is a family run business that has specialised in the Authentic Hammam, Massages, and Facial treatments.

Founded by Tunisian born Halima Hermi, Casa Spa was one of the first ever Hammam establishments in London that was not owned by the state or a corporate company. This is what has given Casa Spa that personal touch to its service. Each customer to us is an individual and never a number.

The business was created out of the passion of making people feel great and relaxed in themselves. That is what the Hammam is about, it is a cleansing ritual that was created to detox and calm the body.

We offer a great range of packages that would suit all people whether it is a group, a couple or an individual.

Well... where do I start? Initially walking up to the "Spa" looked we were walking up to a coffee shop. I actually had to go in a double check it was the spa we had arrived at. After being abruptly told that "Yes, You are in the right place." We sat for 10 minutes, while a tiny cup of mint tea was offered to us, which I wasn't too tempted to drink. We were then escorted, the 4 of us, to two changing rooms, which we had to squeeze in two in each and were then told, once we were finished to go downstairs, again, very abruptly. When we came out of the changing rooms with our costumes on and towels wrapped around us, we were annoyed to see that they had left the door to the "cafe" wide open so people could see us walking past and also people who were walking past on the street could see us too! We gave it the benefit of the doubt and clambered down the stairs. Once we were down, we were asked to remove our towels, which were then dumped in a pile on a stool, and again escorted into a sauna/steam room. This was acutally not too bad, until a woman and a MAN came in and began literally, sloshing some oil on us... this was supposed to be a "light massage" by the way. The man rubbed down both my sisters, while the woman rubbed myself and my mum. This was NOT a light massage to say the least. Once they had finished that, which lasted all of 1 minute. They walked out. They then returned 2 minutes later with some cold water and chucked that on us and when I say chucked they literally threw it at us. They then walked out again and left us. Although the cold water did feel quite refreshing. They then came back in and poured cold water over our feet. After about 10 minutes in the sauna/ steam room, two of us were escorted to the tiny, dark, showers, there were only two by the way, and told to "get naked". I didn't appreciate this and didn't, I showered with my costume on as there was just a thin, small curtain hiding my body and I didn't like how other customers were just walking around, not to mention the staff. We were then taken to another room, which I can only describe as tacky and dirty. The broken tiles weren't even replaced and where she had asked me to sit was boiling hot, I couldn't sit on it for fear of it melting my skin off. We sat in there for a good 5 minutes before the woman came back in a liberally slathered on mud from a dirty bowl onto our skin, which we don't know how long had been sitting there for. We sat in there for another 5 minutes and then were told to "go shower" and to "get naked" for a second time. This time we had to as, when I did get out with my costume on, they told me I needed to take it off, which I had to do outside the showers as there was not enough room for me to be able to take my costume off in there, plus the shower head wouldn't move. We were then given some ratty old towels to wrap around our bodies and were told to go and lie down in the "relaxation area" Our towels were no where to be seen and our costumes were put in a small blue bag and chucked into a box with lots of other small bags with every other customers costumes, so to look for our costume we would have to go through every one elses. Whilst we were "relaxing", which we couldn't do because we were naked in a strange place with strangers, we were offered a fruit selection, which was stated in the dcescription, but consisted of 1 piece of strawberry and 6 pieces of melon.
We then were told to wait. After waiting for 10 minutes, we were getting a bit antsy as we were unsure whether or not we were getting a massage or not, just to be told, "oh no you are finished you can go now" - We picked up our towels, which were funnily enough put in their sections where their towels were kept, scrambled through all the blue bags to find our costumes and got out of there as soon as.
We were not happy with this service at all, and was so disappointed as this was for our mother's 60th birthday party and wanted to something nice for her and all she got was "felt up" and smothered with horrible liquid. This was not what we wanted or bought. The service, location and spa itself, was shoddy and should not be able to be functioning as a spa at all.

This is a pure rip off, the whole experience lasts for max 40minutes, the amount of time staff is spending with you is on average 10. Not only the Casa spa is to blame for misleading and providing crap deals, but equally lastminute.com/treatwell for the ignorance of the quality of deals they are providing.

The therapist was nice and professional but I didn't feel confortable during the facial. She left couple of times during the treatment for sometimes 15mn. It was really noisy

Very disappointing.
Myself and my partner came to use the hamman on Friday night in July for the’ Two of a Kind Pamper Day with Four Treatments’. We paid £99 and I feel incredibly short changed.
The changing room of the venue was laughable. It had a couple of stools, lots of used flip flops (not slippers) and the cover to the door didn’t cover it so people could look through and everyone was to change in the same small space. The towels were old and there were no ‘robes’ as promised.
The treatments themselves were a few minutes each. For the body scrubs/mud we were expected to put half of it on ourselves as the therapist literally threw them on us in the steam room, it wasn’t dissimilar to a applying a quick scrub in the shower. It was impersonal and rushed and far from relaxing.
We weren’t offered and didn’t receive the honey hair mask/seven oils treatments.
For the head massage/foot massage we weren’t given the option between the two and each lasted 5 minutes, barely enough time to relax. The therapist whilst friendly took great delight in telling us about his council house in Pimlico and how he came to the UK as a last resort as he couldn’t get a visa to his preferred countries. We barely had time to stop before we left.
That’s a total treatment time of 15 minutes and one treatment missed out.
We didn’t feel relaxed at all, I was not expecting to share a therapist the whole time with another two people and for £99 was expecting a lot more. Although we were late to the appointment we were told this wasn’t a problem and not to worry at reception, not once was it stated that our treatments would be compromised. Even if we were on time I doubt the treatments would be any different as there was another lady there who arrived on time and received exactly the same as us.
Not a haman experience at all, rather a small converted flat on Edgware Road (by all the Kebab shops etc) trying to make money through unrealistic expectations set on their website.

I wouldn't recommend this to my friends or family. I felt uncomfortable since the first minute I walked in. Maybe because it was my first time in a Moroccan/Turkish bath place, I found it a bit of a culture shock, the owners tried to make me feel welcomed, but it was just not for me, personally.

Did what it said on the tin! I left feeling refreshed and revitalised. I'll definitely go back and add a massage next time.

Very rude and arrogant owners. Not worth the money at all. You get very little value for what you pay. Staff have difficulty communicating clearly.
