I really wish I could rate this higher because the lady doing my treatment was so lovely. The staff component is 5-star, the rest isn’t.
Unfortunately the treatment room is very small and cramped and there is no noise isolation. So, don’t expect a relaxing atmosphere unless you find the sound of people talking and hair dryers relaxing.
The room is clean, although scuff marks around the walls and bed did make me question it initially.
The massage itself was lovely and while very light-touch it was relaxing.
The facial, on the other hand, was pretty grim. It started alright, with my face being washed with oil and then detergent, but rapidly went downhill when the scrub happened. I’m really not sure what was in it, though I guess either lemon juice or alcohol as it really stung on my face. The exfoliating element was incredibly rough and genuinely scratched my skin in a few places. A day later, my skin was red and welted in parts!
Please be careful if you have sensitive skin.
