I had a dry cut so that I knew exactly what length my hair would be when dry. The cut was very good. As I wasn't too sure how short I wanted to go, she said she wouldn't take too much off and if I wanted more off she would then cut again. Which is what happened. I really appreciated this. Never felt rushed either. Would definitely go back
Biba was great as always, even though I was late after being held up by tube chaos. Bit of an issue with the shower head breaking that afternoon so only 4 stars.
Biba is the best! Don’t waste your hard earn money on chain salons that live by their name and not their care of hair. All staff were so friendly, Biba talks you through everything she does, making sure you’re happy so there’s no chance you’ll come out with a nasty surprise. I’ve had blow drys in Selfridges that haven’t been half as good as this. I’m a a new loyal customer and am no longer afraid of hairdressers...if only they could all only be as good as Biba.
I was waiting for this to review as I have been itching to share my mixed experience of this place.
Firstly I panicked as I thought it was a barber's only (the ladies section is at the back).
Despite coming early with one staff it was hard work all round in the heat juggling clients. A drop of water would have been nice-even in the heat not a glass of water was offered, magazines are hairdressing ones.
Some roots missed around hair line.
The blow dry which I paid £15 additional for was not adequate. If you want it curled with tongs it should all be blow dried straight first then done -not after a rough blow dry.
Wasn't great but Sara did her best under the circumstances and she works on stop and hard and is very friendly.
I doubt I'd go back even with a loyal card.
