Call Me Al Massage

Welcome to Call Me Al Massage, based in Kemptown.
I am a Level 3 certified holistic and deep tissue massage therapist, offering treatments from my home in a calm, private living-room setting. The space is comfortable and discreet, with curtains drawn and soft, dimmed lighting to create a relaxing atmosphere. There is plenty of room for your belongings, and refreshments such as water or herbal tea are available.

I’m Al, your friendly neighbourhood therapist, here to support your wellbeing and work on the areas you need most. I usually work with gentle ambient music to encourage relaxation and help calm the nervous system, and aromatherapy can be added to your session if you wish.

Nearest public transport
The venue is conveniently located near the St Mary’s Hall bus stop (routes 1 and 7) and the Royal Sussex County Hospital stop (route 1X). Both are approximately a six-minute walk away.

For first-time clients
I include a complimentary consultation to understand your goals, create a client profile, and tailor the treatment by assessing your needs and focusing on the areas that matter most to you.

Late-evening appointments
These are designed as an almost bedtime send-off, promoting deep relaxation that helps your body and mind wind down naturally so you can sleep well.

Hygiene and Equipment
I maintain a high professional standard for all treatments. My massage table and equipment are supplied by Physique and are cleaned thoroughly between each client. All towels and linens are professionally dry-cleaned to ensure freshness, comfort, and proper hygiene.

Massage mediums and oils
I use both oils and talc depending on the type of massage booked. My two primary oils are:

Reviving Deep Tissue Blend (from Naissance): Grapeseed, hemp seed, ginger, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, patchouli, cinnamon leaf, and coconut
Calming Blend (from Neal’s Yard): Sunflower, sweet almond, apricot kernel, wheatgerm, geranium, lavender, and marjoram
