I have never before had a pedicure without my feet being soaked and cleaned up (removal of dry skin). The pedicure started with my nails being clipped and then filed and before I know it we moved on to painting. It seemed like a rush job to get me out the door quicker. On a hygienic note, the file that was used to file my nails was used before this so if soaking and desinfecting the feet is not a standard prectice in the salon I would be concerned about the people after me using this service.
