Maybe 3–4 inches shorter than I asked for, but oh well it’ll grow out. What made the experience uncomfortable was being repeatedly told that the layered haircut I usually get wouldn’t work because my hair is “too thick.” After that, I didn’t feel comfortable speaking about anything else. Left with a short thick hair bob, even though we’d discussed the length multiple times.
