The haircut was OK in general, but the big minus comes from the fact that I couldn't communicate with the hair dresser at all due to the fact that she spoke no English.
The ambience and cleanliness of the place was very nice and the staff was very kind and welcoming. However, no one spoke English, barring one person, so my entire experience was done through translation. It was my first time colouring my hair and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have an in depth conversation about the colour I wanted with someone who spoke English. Hence, after me saying I didn't want it too red, and wanted my hair to be chocolate brown (near my natural colour) I was told via translation that it would be too dark for me. And the colour they did put on my hair has now turned my entire scalp red. So I am going somewhere else to pay more money to have it redone. So overall, I'm not sure I would recommend others going here for this reason.
My hair dresser was very friendly however, she didn't speak a lot of English. The receptionist was great and translated what cut I wanted onto the stylist. However, some of the information was lost in translation and part of the cut/style was missed. It was later rectified.
I am happy to have found a place that understood my soft baby curls afro. This was my first Brazilian,Luma explained to me what to expect and made me feel assured. I was offered refreshments as I had my curly mane looked after. My curls have found a home. Obrigada!!
