I had a haircut and blow dry. the haircut was perfect, while the blow dry not so perfect since it was done with the hair straightener, which I do not really like. I should have probably said that, but given the very limited ability in speaking English I thought it was fine.
Good place and they know how to brush black hair because it's a "Portuguese" hairdressing. In fact, every speak Portuguese inside.
And they have many choices on the black products (for hair).
Great experience overall. Staff is very nice even if only a few of them were speaking english. I had a brasilian blow dry and I was explained the process beforehand which was great. I will definitely go back and would rexommend it.
Really friendly staff. I rang before as I was worried about turning up with blue hair (couldn't strip it all out) and they were lovely, made me feel confident about going back brunette.
My stylist couldn't speak English but the receptionist translated. This was fine, she did a great job and was very sweet.
Even when all the stylists were speaking in Portuguese when my hair was being washed, the receptionist filled me in on the jokes as to make me feel comfortable.
I would definitely return.
You get what you pay for. To say the two girls performing the cut and cour were apprentices would be generous. Unfortunately the services were nowhere near as friendly as the manager, who incessantly is the only one who speaks English. the salon was very clean and well presented and other staff were smiley and happily chatting amongst themselves. UNFORTUNATELY what was a very simple brown root touch up and a trim of a few inches off my straight hair, turned bad. The colour surprisingly turned out ok but the technique made me wonder why I didn't do it myself, she needed supervision. The trim was very crooked all round and I asked for it to be evened out, she couldn't see what was wrong but tried, next day I had to come back, it was the worst cut I've ever had. if you can't trim straight hair, at all, you're probably not trained.
