Stylist couldn't speak english, so it was difficult communicating what I wanted. Staff were still sweet regardless. Sadly the hair at the front of my hair wasn't blended in well enough - however the shampoo and wash and blow dry was LOVELY!
I'd recommend the salon - but take caution with who you book with.
I used to be a regular and always very pleased with the service of this saloon.
Things changed when the new beautician, Lisa took over. When I attended the saloon for my waxing appointment, I was very disappointed to hear that I need to wait for 30 minutes. This wasn't ideal since I had already traveled for 30 min to get there.
Although the saloon was empty and Lisa was finishing a manicure (she was sitting next to me but never bothered to talk to me in English) the receptionist offered to reschedule my appointment which I seriously consider for 15 min. When I decided to stay and have the service on the day, she announced that the waiting time had increased to an hour. I asked what changed within these 15 minutes and whether they booked someone else in the meantime and the answer was no.
Obviously, the staff doesn't like the discounts the saloon offers through Treatwell and they were trying to get rid of me.
I award them one star for the speed of the refund processed.
Salon was very busy and was seated 20mins after appointment time. Was happy to wait as not in a rush but unhappy with hair cut also.Had a hair mask, cut and blow dry. My hairdresser didn't speak English so another staff member had to translate what I wanted. Wanted a trim and to neaten up my long layers and now have short hair. I tried to explain my hair is curly so nothing too short as it doesn't sit well & now will have to pin back my fringe until it grows out or pull my hair up. Would not return!
