Great place, amazing friendly staff, had my back waxed, and for a back wax it was not that painful as I expected
I can recommend manicure and pedicure in Brasil Hair Islington, however I had better ones.
It is not very comfortable, the treatment was done while I was on the hairdresser's chair, the girl must have been very uncomfortable.
Selection of colours is not great, and also the polishing - I mean the result - itself wasn't perfect. However it was not bad. I would say go ahead if you want good manicure and pedicure, but don't expect the great one.
Girls there are great, nice and helpful.
Very nice staff, waited for me as I was late stuck in traffic. The waxing was quite painful though and there was a tiny piece of paper on the table (I was actually lying on a towel, which was unlikely to be clean).
I had a Brazilian. I come back here as Stefani is excellent at waxing.
I don't like the sliding door on the waxing room as your feet point towards it and people tend to just open it unannounced during waxing (it has happened twice) - not great during a brazilian(!)
To avoid others being as disappointed as I was I feel I must say something. My appointment was for gel / shellac nails; Firstly the place was clean but there was no ambiance at all! The place was empty and the nail room underground with very little lighting, it must have been impossible for my technician to see what she was doing and when I could see in the light the results were very poor. (2nd) I was asked if I wanted my nails short, I expressly asked to keep them as long as possible as I had grown them to a good length, in the end my nails were fashioned so short that she had grazed the underneath of my thumbnail. (3rd) there was very little choice in colour, and I had to open each bottle to see what they were, there was no advice given or colour charts, it was uncomfortable to be asked to choose with no help and I felt my technician was frustrated in having to wait. After all this I was disappointed but I could get over it, the most infuriating thing is that the nail polish has almost all come off!!! in just 2 days the polish on my thumbnails just pealed straight off while i was washing my hair. seriously you pay for something to last 4 weeks and it doesn't even last one. I would not go back because of my experience and due to the fact that the results don't even last I have to leave this message so others can save money and go elsewhere !!!
