This was my second time at this salon, having been happy with my nails the first time I didn't think twice about booking again. Unfortunately it wasn't the same experience. I booked to have gel nails, but didn't understand how to book to have my previous ones removed, so I just decided to ask when I got there, knowing that it doesn't take too long. Apparently this caused so much hassle that I had to wait 40mins soaking my nails while the beautician waxed another client. This means that there was only 1 beautician in the whole salon! Even without having to soak off the gel, my manicure would have eaten into the other person's wax appointment... so we were completely double booked. I was then advised not to get gels again as this ruins the nail, which was nice advice. However, the manicure which I came out with was barely a manicure at all. I wasn't asked whether I wanted my cuticles cut off (which I did want), she didn't tidy the skin around the nail at all, and the nail varnish looked like I had painted it on myself (not something I do well, hence why I came to a salon). The only saving grace was that the beautician was very friendly, but that doesn't fully compensate for the fact that I spent almost 3 hours getting a sub-standard manicure. I'm really disappointed that this happened as I really thought I'd found a great place for a reasonable price.

Great experience ; I had the brazilian blow dry for afro hair and it's really well done; it's not the first one I had but it is definitely one of the best!
