I was excited to try out Brasil hair as it had such good reviews on Treatwell. However, I was quickly feeling disappointed upon my arrival. A girl greeted me and put me straight into the sink to wash my hair and do the mask. The hair was in itself was fairly basic, not that scalp massage that you’re used to getting other places, but that’s okay. I then was brought to the chair to get my hair cut by a woman who didn’t speak a word of English. She had to get her co worker, whose English was not great either to translate every thing for her, and I quickly realized she was the only one out of the 5 women working there who knew English at all. I have to admit, I felt a bit scared leaving my hair in the hands of someone who I couldn’t communicate with. The comb she was using in my hair had half of its teeth missing and her scissors looked really old. Blow dry was the only part that was actually great.
The place in itself is fairly dirty. There’s hairs all over the floor, no one is sweeping it up. The music is loud and the hair dressers are just chatting amongst themselves the whole time in Portuguese. Definitely not the pampering experience you’d expect for something they usually charge £109 for. Even on sale for £50 I’d say take your money somewhere else and enjoy treating yourself.

Would highly recommend. The salon itself is a little basic but service is excellentvalue for money and Laine is a super waxer ;).

The place is lovely, really nicely designs hair salon with the treatment room at the back. The staff was kind and super nice to talk to. I received a very efficient, meticulous wax as well, it was perfect.
