Very disappointed to turn up to my appointment and be told that i should have had a skin test at least 48hrs beforehand and therefore they could not colour my hair. Having arranged childcare for the afternoon this wasnt what to wanted to hear! Whilst i understood the reasons why they needed to do this at no point in the booking process was this highlighted to me. Not a great start! It did improve as i agreed to just have a cut and blow dry which i was pleased with and after chatting more to the stylist discovered she had only been there for 1 month. At that point I was a little surprised that no one more senior came over to apologise for the lack of communication, prior to my appointment about the skin test.
Really great salon with friendly, prfoessional staff.
The treatment recommended for my hair was perfect, my hair looked great and really well nourished.
The only downside to my experience is that I was unable to get my hair coloured (for Insurance purposes a skin/allergy test needed to be completed 48 hours prior to the appointment). Although this was disapointing I appreciate that we made the booking late online and the salon called to inform me at the earliest oppertunity to let me know. I have booked in to get this done at a later date.
Jorden my stylist was excellent and very knowlegeable- I look forward to returning for my colour in a couple of months time!
