I actually booked/paid for a 30min "deep relaxing neck, shoulder and back massage", so I don't know why this shows as a Swedish massage. Perhaps this explains why my massage was neither deep nor included much on the neck?
The star rating was based on the massage itself as the other stuff is less important to me.
Environment: main area is good, comfortable, clean, clearly some effort has been put into this. The main area is nicer than the treatment room, which was ok just not as nice.
Staff: polite, friendly.
Massage: I feel bad leaving a less than positive review bc the therapist was nice, but I was a disappointed if I'm being honest. I felt it was less than 2 star, but felt mean leaving 1 star.
- could have started on time (wasn't too late though)
- I was left waiting ages for the therapist to return after she left me to undress (eating into the treatment time, wasn't pleased).
- Although I booked a deep massage, I would not describe the massage I received as deep. To be fair to the therapist there was a little bit of deep massage on my shoulders, but overall it was mostly very light strokes, which I guess is fine for a relaxing/Swedish massage, but that was not what I was there for. Also a little on the neck, but not much. Overall it was just too light. Maybe it'd help if the therapist had asked how the pressure was during the massage.
For the quality of massage, I feel this was very overpriced (£40 for <30min light massage). The type of massage was not what I booked, the length was shorter and I got the feeling that massage was not the forte of the therapist. I don't mean to be rude, but I don't get the feeling massage is her specialty. Maybe the other treatments at this place are really good, but not massage.
I really don't mind paying extra for good quality massage, but this just wasn't good. I've been to several places that were much better quality (and cheaper). It was a waste of my time and money. Sorry.

The blow dry and mani were excellent and good value and the staff was very nice, but the place could have been tidier and had more suitable music than blasting top 40s, which isn't exactly relaxing!
