I've booked hair conditioning and scalp treatment with big bouncy blow dry for £40. I'm completely dissatisfied with the service, the experience is much below the expectations. The sink was very heavy on the shoulders, the chair was not comfortable, the music sound was very cheap, the blow dry was hot, the conditioning was applied and left on the hair without any steam, heat or something and overall atmosphere is if you were in a very cheap saloon. The blow dry I had was just the straight one as advised by the stylist (straight costs £30 whereas I paid £40 for the bouncy one, i.e. £10 more). I was told that I cannot get a refund as I paid through treatwell but I can get £10 off for the next visit. I don't like how my hair looks after the blow dry, when I'm doing it at home it looks natural and now it has NO volume near the roots at all and it looks like as if the hair is dirty and hasn't been washed at all.
When going to the saloon I expect to get something what I cannot do myself at home.
I appreciate all the efforts by the stylist but I believe I could have done the same thing at home which would be less painful and would give the same or better results.
When writing review I'm comparing my experience with hair conditioning treatment in another saloon in CW which I had last week. It was just £25 but the chair was comfortable and included massage, the sink was not on my shoulders, hair wash was much enjoyable and stylist was doing a hair massage when washing, I was offered a drink and magazine and I was sitting a couple of minutes under the heating to make the conditioning penetrate to the hair. My hair looked good afterwards and was very soft. In this saloon I paid more and hasn't experienced the same treating as in the another saloon in CW and this fact makes me very sad and dissatisfied.
