Spa was okay, changing rooms very small so would suggest getting changed in your room first if staying overnight. Room was very dated and could do with a major overhaul! Reception and restaurant lovely but get past that to the rooms and corridors and very dire..,

The staff were all Polite and friendly and service was good. The food was very good and the spa was great. Brilliant facial. The room was a big let down, tatty and in need of general maintenance. The photos of the rooms is slightly mis leading.

The treatments were good, friendly helpful beauticians / therapists. Food at lunch was ok but nothing special, the restaurant service was very slow. Overall day was so-so.
The spa has seen better days: peeling wallpaper in reception; dark basement pool with ceiling panels coming off; tiny changing room and only 1 shower; not hot water in the poolside showers; steam room wasn't hot enough...
The main pool and area were lovely but families with small children are also allowed to use it so it's not an adult only relaxing get space.

The spa was okay. Had all the facilities you'd expect, however, layout could have been considered more. There's quite a lot of noise coming from the pool area so the 'relaxation room' wasn't so relaxing. The afternoon tea was nice. There was a lot of bored teenagers hanging around the restaurant/bar area which made the experience a little uncomfortable. Boys were using the girls toilets and they were also quite rude to guests. The nail treatment I received was FAB! The nail technitian did an amazing job and was very lovely and chatty. The staff in general were brilliant. Very kind and helpful and made you feel very welcome. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the spa alone, but definitely the treatments and the staff made the day!
