I thought the cost of the combined pedicure and manicure was quite good - £41. However when I arrived I was told that I would need to pay an extra £8 to remove the nail polish from my toes. I remonstrated saying that I'd never paid more than £2 for this before. The atmosphere became very frosty and the therapist made disparaging remarks about me to the other therapists. I had to sit through an hour of hostility. I was blamed for the poor outcome for not holding my fingers under the lamp properly
