The business shares its space with a hairdresser's, and when I arrived for my evening appointment, the salon was empty and the door was locked. I had to call another location so they could let the therapist know I had arrived; she was friendly and apologetic when she came to the door to let me in.
The room was comfortable, clean and warm with relaxing music. My therapist started with stretches, then traded places with another member of staff part way through - I was a little confused, but didn't mind as the second one provided more pressure for the muscles that were bothering me. She spent a lot of time on my shoulders, which were my main concern, and kept checking in with me to be sure I was comfortable. (I do wish they had a table with a separate face/head rest, as the rolled towel didn't create enough space from the table enough when I was facedown, making it hard to breathe at times.)
I had booked for a hot stone massage, but the majority of the appointment was a regular massage, with a few minutes using hot stones at the end. I think the therapist decided to spend more time in traditional methods so she could work on the areas that were problematic; I was a little disappointed not to have a more comprehensive hot stone session, but the massage I had was one of the most effective I've had in a long time. Great value for price - I'll definitely be back (just for a regular massage).
