I chose a tailor made massage as I couldn't decide between all the options and assumed that would mean I could choose what I wanted. However this didn't really happen. They asked on the form which part I wanted them to focus on but it was still a full body massage which I wasn't expecting, and they also used hot stones which was unexpected but lovely.
I arrived early and didn't have the best welcome as the guy was just calling me to tell me they were running 15 mins late. However once I was inside I didn't mind as I immediately relaxed. It smells and sounds like a spa and I was given water etc while I waited.
The girls were really sweet and obviously know what they're doing, but they do seem rushed off their feet. There was no gap between appointment times so no wonder they were running late. This also meant there was no time for aftercare as by the time I'd got dressed they had moved on to the next customer. I was offered water but didn't get any, and I had felt her obviously find some tension which I wanted to ask her about but never got the chance too.
The massage itself was quite intense. Maybe I was naive in not knowing much about Thai massage but she was using her knees and elbows, climbing on the bed! Some of it was lovely and some of it was painful, but I felt so much lighter afterwards. They obviously know what they're doing but taking a bit more time to tend to the customer afterwards would be helpful. She did however take note of an injury I had and was extra careful in that area.
Overall it was good just not what I was expecting. I think the focus is on fixing any issues rather than relaxation.

I had a fantastic deep tissue massage yesterday. My muscles were so tight from doing lots of travelling recently and I left feeling so relaxed. It is a lovely venue, very clean and modern, not traditional Thai decor but still very nice. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely be going back.
