This is the second time I’ve been to this place for a massage and whilst last time I thought it was great this time it was poor.
To set your expectations: It’s a no frills kind of place, not a spa, and the rooms I’ve been in have noise from reception which reduces my ability to relax. However the decor is nice and it’s priced appropriately. However, whilst last time my massage was amazing, this time it was poor. Different techniques and amount of time was spent on one arm/leg vs the other, and the amount of elbow pressure that was used during the back massage was unpleasant. In both sessions I had a deep tissue massage and asked for shoulder focus, last time I came out feeling like a new person, this time I was disappointed the knots all hadn’t been relaxed. Maybe this is due to them being busier on a weekend. The therapist did seem busy/distracted. I think I might try again, but if this had have been my only experience I wouldn’t bother!
