After good waxing experiences, I booked a shellac manicure as I’d managed to grow my nails after years of biting them. The removal completely ruined them! The electric file must’ve been used poorly, as it left my nails thinner, flaky, inflamed, and full of scratch marks and dents. A few weeks later, my nails are red, sore & have started to slowly lift from the nail bed (onycholisis). I’ve had to cut them super short and pay for a strengthening product, erasing my growth progress. Frustrating :(
