The Spa Day was lovely. We were greeted at reception by Petra who was very professional and friendly and organised our welcome drink (lovely touch) and explained how our day would run whilst we sat in a beautifully decorated lounge which was both stylish and comfortable. The décor of the hotel was stunning - the colours and style of the furniture and wall coverings and window furnishings were fabulous and hinted at the great time which we were about to enjoy. The Spa itself was very clean with ample hairdryers and space to change. The Jacuzzi could have been more powerful, but the steam room and sauna were spot on. The pool is big enough to enjoy a sensible swim also.
Lunch was wonderful - I had the broccoli soup and chicken and my friend enjoyed the chocolate brownie - which were all superb. The service was friendly and timely. The prosecco is a nice touch too.
The Treatments were very good. I had a full body massage and my friend had a facial. We both felt very pampered and enjoyed the treatments which were both to a high standard. After which we settled down in the relaxing room with a large snuggly blanket and completely chilled.
A lovely relaxing Spa Day at a stylish and beautifully furnished hotel with great food and very attentive and helpful, friendly staff (Petra was fantastic and a great ambassador for the Hotel).

Great day, excellent treatments by very accomplished therapists. Pool was wonderfully warm and lunch was very good. The Only thing I didn’t really like was the fact we had to wait in the relaxation room for the next treatment – felt we were disturbing people who were in there to really relax. Overall a very enjoyable day and good value.

I cannot recommend The Connaught Hotel enough. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere so calm and relaxing. The spa day was amazing and the food excellent. I will definitely be booking another spa day soon.
