Lovely staff great relaxing room and massage

Loved our visit to the spa the treatments where first class and staff very professional. However, the lunch offered on the day is far to heavy for mid day at a spa - it needs a rethink. Because of this we asked if a Caesar salad was an option, the kitchen staff agreed they could do this instead. Unfortunately they didn’t have all the ingredients to produce it and our salad was served without anchovies and with little sauce as “that’s all the sauce hats left” Another disappointing factor is we had bought our vouchers at a special launch price but found out other guests had paid considerably less via groupon.

Excellent value for money but sadly let down by booking lunch for 1pm and it arriving at 1.20, with my treatment booked for 2 and the second course coming out at 1.55 I had to bolt it down which wasn’t pleasant for my treatment unfortunately, one other thing, it was for my mother’s 80th Birthday and the lady on reception asked later on in the day what her name was so we were expecting a little surprise maybe but nothing matured which was a bit odd after asking her name??
