Great spa, very good massage, very satisfied really pleasant experience, only 3 minor downsides, could hear building work going on while having massage & no towels given, apart from that very good

I went for my birthday as a special treat with my partner. I didn’t have great expectations due to the cost as we found a good deal, but we were really pleasantly surprised! We had a lovely few hours relaxing, I loved the lounging area. My massage was nice but slightly painful at times. I should have said there and then, however I didn’t want to ruin the mood. The food was ok, I’m not a fussy person but really didn’t enjoy the chips. Overall great price, lovely hotel and spa area. Would recommend for the price!

From the minute we arrived we had a lovely relaxing experience. The receptionist was very welcoming and showed/told us everything we needed to know. The spa was more than accommodating for what we wanted out of our chilled Spa Day. The food was incredible. We were fortunate to take advantage of an offer that was available so it made the overall experience even more worth the money! My grandad John used to be a night porter at The Connaught and we’d visited before so I somewhat knew my surroundings but it was very easy to navigate around the hotel/spa.
The treatment was amazing, can’t fault it. The only slight downside was that from several hours in/out of the pool etc our robes become wet and there was only 1 fresh one available for us to replace before we sat down for our meal and although our towels were also very wet we didn’t ask to replace these although I’m sure this wouldn’t have been an issue.
